Getting Grounded Audio Recording

Listening Time: 6 minutes 27 seconds

In this rapidly shifting world in which we currently live, it’s easy to feel unsettled, anxious, confused and emotionally unbalanced. We can feel “ungrounded”.

Sometimes traumatic events can suddenly cause us to feel ungrounded. But we can also slowly lose our groundedness over time. We might find ourselves lost in rumination, worry and anxiety and drawn to numb ourselves with distractions such as overeating, substance consumption, procrastination, excessive electronics usage, gambling or daydreaming. All of these distractions may be momentary salves but with continued practice, they actually contribute to our ongoing anxiety and distress.

What does it mean to be grounded?

To be grounded simply means to be present. We act intentionally, instead of blindly reacting, to life situations. We are in control of our thoughts. emotions and actions. We are in contact with our bodies and with our surroundings. We feel capable and strong in dealing with life’s uncertainties and challenges.

This recording is offered to help you become more centered and balanced in life. You will hear tips on how to easily and quickly become grounded. Choose even one technique and with practice, you may find yourself gaining deeper inner peace, self-control and completeness.

It’s also a good idea to ground yourself after emerging from meditation and hypnosis; definitely before you resume normal life activity and especially before driving a vehicle. This will help you regain your feelings of physical presence while continuing a state of peace.

You may find the voice and music on this recording to be quite relaxing, so please listen to it only when it is safe for you to relax; never while driving or anytime your attention is otherwise required.

I wish you well on your journey of self-love and self-care.

For the best listening experience, we recommend using headphones or earbuds.
